She had a lifelong love of concerts with the Boston Symphony Orchestra (both in Boston and in Tanglewood). She was an avid reader, an adventurous world traveler, and an outstanding cook. She enjoyed spending time on Cape Cod where she loved sailing and playing tennis, and annual family ski trips were also a highlight.
In recent years, Paula was active in the Harvard Institute for Learning in Retirement where she was regarded for her intellectual curiosity, her outgoing personality and ever-present sense of humor. Mostly, she was passionate about her children and grandchildren; she was a fierce advocate for progressive political causes and for the people she loved.
