Pearl Ruth Appel

Appel, Pearl Ruth of Newton. Entered into rest on August 31, 2012 at the age of 93. Devoted mother of Robyn Pitler and her husband James of Blackstone; Marjorie Solomon and her husband Michael of Winthrop and the late Elaine Flanders and Barbara Siddell. Loving sister of Leah Davidson of Sarasota, FL, the late Max Bearon, Israel Bearon and Harry Bearon. Cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren. Great-grandmother of eleven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon St., Brookline on Monday, September 3, 2012 at 12 Noon. Burial will follow at Shepatovka Cemetery, Boston, MA. Memorial observance will be held immediately following interment at the home of Marjorie and Michael Solomon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pearl’s memory to the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center, 1200 Centre St, Boston 02131.
