Phyllis (Solomon) Borkow of Chestnut Hill died peacefully at home on Friday, March 23, 2012. For 67 years she was the beloved wife of the late Edward S. Borkow. Loving mother of George Borkow and Marilyn Volpe of California and Robert Borkow and Lisa Huttner of Natick. Adored grandmother of Matthew Borkow and his wife Leslie and Jacob Borkow. Also survived by her daughter-in-law Joan Borkow of Martha’s Vineyard. Dear sister of the late Frances Perlman and Irene Benson. Graveside services at Sharon Memorial Park, 41 Dedham Street, Sharon on Sunday, March 25 at 1:45pm. Memorial observance at her late residence on Sunday following the interment and Monday 2-4pm and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Perkins School for the Blind, 175 N.
