Phyllis Katz, of Needham and formerly of Wellington, FL on January 23, 2022. For over 70 years, beloved and cherished wife of Harvey. Loving mother of Wendy Grabler and her husband Peter, Gary Katz and his wife Linda and Jeffrey Katz and his wife Laura. Adored and proud grandmother of Matthew Grabler and his wife Jessica, Allison Stein and her husband Andrew, Jennifer Golden and her husband Harry, Alyssa Bloch and her husband Todd, Joshua Katz and his wife Ashley, Andrew Katz and his girlfriend Julie Webb and Jessica Kaufman and her husband Matthew. Revered great grandmother of Jacob and Mia Grabler, Nate, Maya and Sadie Stein, Zoe and Sam Golden, Ellie and Sara Bloch, Leta and Ari Katz and Chloe Kaufman. Dear sister of Marian Ely & her late husband Bernard. Fond aunt to her nieces and their families. Phyllis loved the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was a great cook, an avid bridge, mahjong, and canasta player. Toward the end of her life and during the peak of covid, her kids and grandkids and great grandkids, who live all over the country, maintained a close relationship with their grandmother, Gigi, via video technology. The entire family would gather around their Facebook Portals daily to catch up. Family to Phyllis was precious and practiced. Phyllis’ family wants to express their deep appreciation and gratitude to all her caregivers who made her last few years so peaceful.
