Robert Shepard Grossman, “Bob”, age 69, of Jamaica Plain formerly of Brookline on Friday, July 14, 2017. Beloved son of the late Marilyn (Silverston) and Maurice “Mike” Grossman. Loving brother of Jo Anne Grossman Pearlman, Nancy Grossman, James Grossman and of sister-in-law Joy Dubin Grossman. Fond uncle of Melissa, Ian, Shoshana, Jake, Micah, Hallie, Caroline, Eli and grandniece Zoe. Adored grandson of the late Leah “Lizzie” (Steigman) and Reuben Aaron Grossman and Sophie(Barrish) and Nathan Silverston. Dear nephew of Penny Soble, Shirley Brown and the late Anne Starr, Eleanor Cohen, Edythe Seigal, Nissie Grossman, Martha Rubinstein, Harvey Silverston and all their families.

Services at Temple Israel, 477 Longwood Avenue, Boston on Tuesday, July 18 at 11:00 AM. Burial at Hebrew Progressive Cemetery, 350 Grove Street, West Roxbury. Immediately following burial, memorial observance will be at Temple Israel until 4:00 pm. Memorial observance will continue in the evening at the home of Nancy Grossman from 7-9:00 pm and on Wednesday & Thursday from 2-5:00 pm and 7-9:00 pm.
