He enjoyed poetry, art, music, singing jazz standards, L.L.Bean, condo association business, homemade blueberry pie, walks to Fenway and Coolidge Corner, philanthropy, and a modest but intellectually rich lifestyle. He was a published poet, a dry wit, union negotiator, cab driver, community theater director, caring friend, and perhaps one of the last “old school” gentlemen.
