Ronald L. Koocher, age 86, of Newton, MA on September 6, 2021. Beloved husband for 66 years of Barbara (Davis) Koocher. He was the devoted father of Bonnie (John) Rice of Newton, MA and Ilisa Alpert of Wayland, MA. Ron was adored by his grandchildren, Justine Koegel (Aaron), Jocelyn Rice-Chan (Flora), Abby Higgins (Louis), Eric Alpert, and his great-granddaughter, Charlotte Koegel. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Ron was the youngest son of the late Jacob and Ida (Adler) Koocher and was raised in Mattapan. He was preceded in death by his siblings, David Koocher, Sophie (Sonny) Nadler, and Martin Koocher.
Private graveside services were held at Sharon Memorial Park.
