Ronald Seymon Rosenberg of Jamaica Plain, MA, passed away peacefully at age 78 on July 8, 2022. Beloved husband of Marcy Berman Rosenberg for 43 years. Devoted father of Dorienne Rosenberg. Loving brother of Meta Rosenberg Levi.
Ever since childhood, Ron had a “nose for news” and aspired to be a journalist. He spent more than 20 years as a business reporter for The Boston Globe, covering breaking news in the high technology and biotechnology industries. He was celebrated for his astute interviewing skills and keen instinct for what constitutes a compelling story.
With a passion for travel, Ron sought out many international adventures with his family and loved learning about different cultures. He was an avid photographer whose camera captured many precious moments, here on home soil and abroad, that his family will always cherish.
Services at Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline, MA, on Friday, July 15, 2022, at 10:30am.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research or the Alzheimer’s Association.
