

Ronna D. Berliner, née Paulin, of Brookline, MA passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the age of 79. She was born on June 1, 1945, in Philadelphia, PA where she lived with her parents and her sister until age 6 when the family moved to Rochester, NY.
Ronna graduated from State University of New York College at Buffalo in 1967 with a bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and earned her master’s degree in Speech Pathology from Northeastern University in 1971. She worked as a speech therapist in the Norwood Public Schools and later in corporate settings helping foreign speakers of English be better understood so they could progress in their careers.
Ronna was actively involved in Havurah Or Hadash, serving as co-president for many years and later as coordinator of adult education.
Ronna is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Evelyn Paulin and her sister Beverly Groden. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Berliner, her sons Samuel and Jonathan Berliner, her nieces Amy Beth Katz, Debbie Levin, Sheryl Groden and their husbands and children.
Ronna created a welcoming home filled with unconditional love for family and friends, all of whom will deeply miss her.
The family would like to thank the management and staff of Hebrew Senior Life, Hebrew Rehabilitation Center in Roslindale for the care and compassion they showed Ronna in her final months, as well as the home health caregivers from PlatinumCare Plus who took care of her for many years.
