Rose Kimell passed away on September 15, 2025, just shy of age 107. She was born on October 16, 1918, in Gardiner, Maine and was a resident of Haverhill, Massachusetts.
“Love planted a rose and the world turned sweet.”
Rose is predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Hy Kimell. She is survived by her devoted children Richard Kimell and Wendy Kimell; cherished grandmother to three and great-grandmother to three. Her family was the center of her world.
Throughout her life, Rose was an artist in all that she did, making life beautiful for those around her. Her job was to bring beauty and charm to everything she touched, and she succeeded in doing so with grace and elegance. She was known for her encouraging and supportive nature, and she was a perfect mother who added light and beauty to everyone's world.
Rose was radiant as a flower, and she looked like a movie star with her green eyes and platinum blond hair. She loved butterflies and made everything she did special, especially the holidays. She had a gift for making everyone in her life feel important and loved.
“What a lovely thing a Rose is. There is simply the Rose- it is perfect in every moment of its existence.”
