Her love and devotion to her family and friends had no boundaries. She left family and friends in Cleveland when or if her siblings or their spouses were ill and needed help and support. Rose was there, always bringing a beautiful smile, a sense of calmness, and a compassionate heart. She never missed any of her family’s dozens of Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and wedding celebrations. Rose loved her nieces and nephews and their children as though they were her children and grandchildren and they loved and admired her in return. Their pictures and cards adorned the walls of her apartment. Rose had many interests and hobbies, excelling in them all with great passion. As an avid reader she often had more than one book at a time on her lap. She was a whiz at card games, playing with family from age 3 to 75. Her interests in the world around her were expansive; only to be outdone by her devotion and interest in her family.Services and internment are private, due to Covid.Donations in Rose’s Memory may be sent to: Hebrew Senior Life/ Social, Cultural Fund c/o Laura Baber 100 Centre St. Brookline, MA 02446 West River Hospice Foundation 63 Kendrick St.Needham, MA 02494
