Ruth C. Bell

Ruth Cohen Bell died peacefully on July 29, 2023 at the age of 90. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, William Bell (Bill). Mother of Cindy Bell (David Elinoff), Nancy Bell McKinney (Greg McKinney), and Michael Bell (Patricia Bell). Grandparent of Daniel Elinoff, Katie Elinoff, Carissa McKinney, Shaylyn McKinney, Jennifer Whorton. Also predeceased by her brother, Leo Cohen.

Ruth was known for her kindness, but more than that, for her curiosity about people. She was genuine and caring, hardworking, and always went the extra mile. She loved her garden, fast walking, travelling, great friendships, and especially her family. She was passionate about her Boston sports teams (Red Sox and Patriots). She was involved in women's rights issues from a young age. Her last years were difficult for her, but all who loved her will cherish their memories of the vibrant, energetic, loving, stylish, thoughtful person she was.

Funeral services will be private.
