Sandra Schneider

Sandra Schneider, 91, of Brookline, MA, passed away June 28, 2025.

She was born April 6, 1934, in Brooklyn, NY to Ann and Murray Simon. She was the beloved wife of Bob Schneider (predeceased) and sister to Bob Simon (predeceased), dear mother and mother-in-law to Laurie and Norman, Steven and Carole, Glenn (predeceased) grandmother to Rachel and David. While an undergrad at Univ of Illinois, she fell in love with a tall, handsome man from Brooklyn, NY. Sandy and Bob were married on Feb 26, 1955. She was a stay at home mom who raised three children. The family moved to MA in ’73. They joined Temple Beth Shalom where they made many lifelong friends. She loved the theater and the arts, and her passion for travel took her to all 7 continents. She always looked forward to her weekly card games with the girls.

Sandy’s funeral service will be held at Temple Beth Shalom in the Beit Midrash, 670 Highland Avenue, Needham, MA on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 10:30 a.m.

A private family service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park.
