Sanford E. Ostroy, Ph.D of Brookline, MA on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. For 54 years, Sandy was the beloved husband of Zippy (Pomerantz). Devoted father of Allen Ostroy and Paul Ostroy & his wife Andrea, grandfather of Shae, Taj and Nyella, and brother of Rita Charthower.
Services at Temple Sinai, 50 Sewall Avenue, Brookline on Friday, April 7 at 11:00am. Interment at Walnut Hills Cemetery, 96 Grove Street, Chestnut Hill. Following the interment, Shiva will be observed at the family home through 5PM and continuing Saturday 7:30-9:30PM and Sunday 2-5PM and 7:30-9:30PM.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Temple Sinai, JALSA (Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action) or FriendshipWorks.
