

Seena Beth Berkowitz, of Needham, MA passed on August 3rd, 2026 at 82.
Seena was a loving, kind-hearted woman whose warmth, generosity, and compassion touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She cared deeply for others, but nothing brought her greater joy than her family. Her love was unconditional, and her greatest happiness came from caring for the people she loved.
Born on June 18, 1944, to Thelma and Abraham in Brookline, Massachusetts, Seena was raised in Dorchester, where she developed the strength, resilience, and caring spirit that would define her life. She graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High School in 1962.
In 1969, Seena met Fred, and they married in December 1970. They bought a home in Bedford, Massachusetts, where they shared more than 50 wonderful years of marriage. Together they raised two daughters, Rachael and Lisa, who were the pride and joy of her life.
Seena was the most devoted wife and mother. Her family always came first, and she poured her heart into creating a home filled with love, comfort, and support.
She loved to dance and was always ready to get out on the dance floor. She enjoyed playing tennis, where her competitive spirit and love for the sport would shine. She also loved spending time searching for antiques and discovering unique treasures. Some of her happiest moments were spent chatting with friends, talking, laughing, and catching up on life's everyday moments.
Of all the roles she cherished, being "Grandma" was among her favorites. Her grandchildren filled her heart with immeasurable pride and happiness. She treasured every moment spent with them, showering them with endless love and affection.
Seena will be remembered for her fierce love, selfless generosity, unwavering dedication to her family and friends, and her remarkable sense of humor that could brighten any room. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and in the family she loved so deeply. Though she will be profoundly missed, her love, laughter, and spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her forever.
A graveside service is to be held at Shawsheen Cemetery in Bedford, MA Thursday, August 6th at 11:00am. Shiva will be held following the service at the Conroy's Home till 7:00 PM.
