Selma (Alter) Farby, age 90, of Wellesley, formerly of Skokie, Illinois on Sunday, November 26, 2017. Loving mother of Barbara Saper & her husband Clifford, and Gerald Farby & his wife Judy. Cherished grandmother of Rebecca Saper, Leah Saper-Bradley & her husband Oran Bradley, Sean Saper, Karen Richard & her husband Dave, Lesley Farby & her husband Scott Berkowitz, Julie Farby & her wife Heather Farby, and David Farby & his fiancé Samantha Mor. Cherished great grandmother to Ryan and Hillary Richard, Hannah, Ari and Daniel Berkowitz, Alyssa Farby and Josephine Bradley. Devoted sister of the late Bernard Alter. Dear aunt of Jan Greenberg & her husband Larry and Stuart Alter and their families.

Graveside services at Beit Olam East, 42 Concord Road, Wayland, MA on Wednesday, November 29 at 2:00pm. Following the service, memorial observance will be at the home of Barb & Clif Saper until 9:00pm and continuing Thursday, November 30 from 7:00-9:00pm with minyan at 7:30pm.
