Selma Z. (Panoff) Freed, of Dedham, formerly of New York City, in her 100th year on Saturday, November 15, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Irving Freed. Loving mother of Dr. Michael D. Freed of Brookline and Dr. Howard A. Freed of Cambridge, NY. Adored grandmother of Jennifer, Joshua, Steven and Max and great grandmother of Sophia, Margaret, Eli, Jacob and Mia. Cherished daughter of the late Arthur & Mary (Fisher) Panoff. Dear sister of the late Henry Panoff, Edith Goldman and Fred Grill. Services at Temple Shalom of Newton, 175 Temple St., Newton on Tuesday, November 18 at 1:30pm. Interment will be private. Memorial observance immediately following the Temple service through 7pm at the home of Mike Freed & Liz Geist. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice.
