Seth W. Hamot, of Brookline, far too soon, on Thursday, March 22, 2018. Seth was a remarkable husband, father, friend, mentor, and person. To his treasured wife, Benna Kushlefsky, he was the perfect match and a cherished partner. To his sons, Gideon and Asa, he was a dedicated and adoring father and friend, providing a strong foundation and example for how to live a loving and honorable life. Seth is also survived by his father, Herman Hamot, to whom he was incredibly devoted, and many friends, colleagues, and extended family who will miss him dearly. Seth’s wisdom, boundless intellectual curiousity, and quiet generosity enriched our lives. Services at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline, on Sunday, March 25 at 2:00pm. The family will sit shiva and receive visitors at their home Monday through Thursday, 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
