

Sharon was born in the Bronx, NY on October 19, 1958. She fearlessly followed her passion as an artist and writer. She wrote, directed, and produced an independent film, "Everything Relative" (1996), which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Sharon was also successful as a beloved teacher. She was a versatile and experienced educator who cared deeply about her students. Over the years, she first was an Assistant Professor at NYU Tisch, where she taught dramatic writing, drama, and film. She also taught Yiddish at Congregation Beth Simchat Torah in New York City, as well as French and English literature in New Jersey Public Schools and later in International Schools in Switzerland and France.
Through her exceptional personality, Sharon touched so many people. Everyone who crossed her path could not help but notice her insatiable curiosity, brilliant mind, incisive wit, her keen interest in others, and her love of life. She was all this and more, and above all, she loved her family. Sharon was the most caring and protective mother, devoted wife, and loving sister and cousin.
A funeral service will be held on November 14, 2025, at 1:00pm at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, MA 02067. In Sharon’s memory, please consider giving tzedakah to Congregation Beth Simchat Torah (www.cbst.org).
