Shirlee K. Meropol (nee Kerman), 97, of Newton, MA, formerly of Coconut Creek, FL, Teaneck, NJ, and Bronx, NY, entered into rest on March 20, 2019. She was the beloved wife of Nathan "Nat" Meropol, with whom she shared 56 years of marital bliss prior to his passing in 1999. Born in Russia, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Emma Kerman.
The ultimate example of living one’s life to the fullest, Shirlee spread love, warmth and humor to those around her. Her devotion to family was unparalleled.
Left to cherish Shirlee’s memory are her devoted children, Michele Meropol Gilliam and her husband Jeffrey Gilliam, Jeffrey Meropol and his wife Rosalie, Neal Meropol and his wife Sharon; her adored grandchildren, Ian Meropol and his wife Meg, David Meropol and his fiance Choon Yong Tan, Price McMahon and her husband James, Daniel Meropol, and Hannah Meropol; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Anna, Tess, Rosie, and James.
A graveside service for Shirlee will be held on Friday, March 22 at 2pm at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave., Paramus, NJ.
