She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Charney with whom she shared many years of marriage.
Born in Holdrege, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Rose (Levenberg) Cohen. She was the youngest of 5 children.
She was the devoted mother of Michael Charney & his wife CJ Prentiss of North Kingsville, OH and Jill Charney & her husband Mark Golden of Newton, MA. Cherished grandmother of Barrie Charney-Golden and Jesse Charney-Golden.
Graveside funeral services will be held at B’Nai Brith Cemetery, 55 St. John’s Rd., Worcester, MA on Thursday June 26, 2014 at 1:30 P.M. and will be officiated by Rabbi Karen Landy.
A memorial gathering will take place on Thursday; location will be announced at the service.
