She was the devoted mother of Robert & Ann Lurie and Donald & Linda Lurie. Loving sister of Simon Illions and the late Eva Starfield, Lillian Pasternack, Dorothy Simons and Louis Illions. Cherished grandmother of Peter & Kimberly Lurie, Neal & Cathy Lurie, Jennifer & Keith McNamara, Joshua & Julie Lurie and great-grandchildren Emma, Alex, Logan and AJ.
Services will be held at Temple Beth Shalom, 670 Highland Avenue, Needham, on Wednesday, October 12th at 12:30 PM.
Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the home of Robert & Ann Lurie on Wednesday following the funeral and then Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 PM.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Shirley Lurie may be donated to Alzheimer’s Disease Center at BU School of Medicine, 72 E. Concord St., L-219, Boston, MA 02118.
