Sidelle Stiller, of Delray Beach, FL, and Boston, MA, took her last breath during the early morning of August 19, 2026, while being cared for in Walla Walla, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Hyman Stiller, the “love of her life” and by her dear companion, Max Shaff. She was born on June 22, 1917, in Boston, and grew up in Lynn, MA. She was the daughter of the late Sam and Ida Baizman and the sister of the late Gertrude Reingold, Annie Baizman and Marsha Rosenthal.
She left behind many people whose lives she impacted during her 109 years of life, including her son, Ronald Stiller and his partner Angela Viaene, her grandchildren Marc Stiller and his wife Rori Friedman, and Robin Stiller and her husband Greg Paul, as well as many nieces and nephews of the Stiller, Stearns, and Baizman families.
Sidelle was remarkably vibrant and active throughout her life. She was extremely proud to have been a hopscotch champion in her youth. She and her husband were competitive dancers, winning multiple trophies in local competitions. They were also competitive bridge players (she was better at it than he) and being unable to play bridge when she lost her sight was one of her great regrets.
After the death of her husband, Sidelle volunteered at the West Roxbury VA MedIcal Center and The Greater Boston Guild for the Blind. She was an avid follower of current events and news, taking great interest in the stock market and current politics.
