Susan Gayle (Livingston) Emre, was a devoted and loving mother to Stephen, Robin, Andrea, Alyson, and Deniz; a grandmother; a sister and friend. Susan passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at age 78.
She was born to Guy and Helen (Tupper) Livingston on July 22, 1943, in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating from high school, Susan pursued her passion for serving others by becoming a Registered Nurse, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University. Throughout her 40-year career, she served in a variety of roles at hospitals and clinics across the Boston area. Her dedication to the needs of others was tireless both at work and at home.
In retirement, she loved to spend meaningful time with her close family. She was an intelligent, beautiful, and thoughtful woman. She will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.
A private funeral service was held on September 19, 2021.
