

Sylvia I. Sussman, age 92, of Framingham died peacefully on February 6, 2018 at Wingate in Sudbury, MA. Sylvia, the daughter of Laurence Israelson and Nettie Israelson was born on March 17, 1925 in Boston, MA and graduated from Roxbury Memorial High School.
She was the beloved wife of the late Seymore Sussman. She was loved by her son Howard M. Sussman and her grandson Robert Sussman, son Carl Sussman and his wife Donna, and her daughter Jill Oxford and her husband Robert.
In World War II Sylvia was a pharmacist mate in the US Navy stationed in Bethesda, MD.
After the Navy she worked for Bose Corporation. Subsequently she worked for and retired from Anne Starr Inc., of Wellesley, MA.
Sylvia was a member of Temple Beth Shalom of Framingham and enjoyed traveling to Aruba with her daughter, bowling, mah jong, and loved her family and close friends.
The funeral services will be held graveside at 12:00 Noon on Friday, February 9th, at Puritan-Mount Sinai Cemetery, 776 Baker Street in West Roxbury, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to one of the charities she supported: The American Cancer Society, the PKD Foundation, or the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
