Vicki L. Gabriner

Vicki L. Gabriner, of Brookline, at age 76 on Thursday, November 22, 2018. For 14 years, she was the beloved wife of Rochelle Goldberg Ruthchild. Devoted daughter of the late Joseph & Edna (Leibowitz) Levins. Fond sister of Will & Sharon Levins. Dear aunt of Debra Katz and Stacy Esser & her husband Darren. Loving great aunt of Maia, Julia, Zachary, Benjamin and Garrett. Devoted and caring parent of Rafi Ruthchild (Megan). Adoring grandmother of Henrietta.

Long time social justice activist, especially for civil rights, feminism, lesbian and gay rights, and incest survivors. Passionate supporter of preserving Yiddish culture.

Services at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline on Sunday, November 25 at 10:30am. Burial at Beth El Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury.

Following the burial, memorial observance/shiva at Congregation Kehillath Israel, 384 Harvard Street, Brookline, and continuing Monday and Tuesday from 4:00pm -7:00pm at her late residence.
