Dear Barbara,
I was so sorry to learn of Bill's passing in the BTU newsletter. He was a wonderful person and fabulous colleague - so friendly and helpful, all with a great sense of fun. Jane and I still talk about him bursting through the swinging door, larger than life, calling out, "Everything OK in here?" putting smiles on everyone's faces.

I am totally shocked to hear of Bill's passing. You , Bill and I have been personal and professional friends for fifty years. Bill was the backbone of the Lewis Middle School. He was the best scheduler that I have ever seen.Ihave retired to Florida a few years ago and am not in the area to make the funeral or Shiva. May Bill's memory be for a blessing. Well Bill they did it again, your family made you proud. You would have been balling your eyes out! It was an amazing testament to the love they had for you. I love you Bill and I'll never forget you, you truly were one of a kind.

Thinking of the Shea family and sending my heartfelt condolences.

I was lucky to have known and worked with Bill at the Lewis M.S. He was the glue in a school of insecure dreams. His knowledge of how the system worked, his loyalty and encouragement for the kids who struggled to grow up in that chaotic world of teenagers, his wink to the shy and insecure was admirable. He was the most unassuming, empathetic and kind mentor I had the pleasure of knowing in B.PS. And need I say, he called his family his greatest love and achievement.

I am so sorry for your loss, Barbara.  Your entire family is in my thoughts at this sad time.
