Yakov David Portnoy of Boston was entered into rest August 28th, 2016. He was 90 years of age. The beloved husband of Marianna (Nyurenberg) Portnoy, he was also the devoted father of Natalya Chernyak and the cherished grandfather of Julia Waxman and Dimitri Chernyak. Services will be at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon St, Brookline, MA, on Tuesday, August 30th beginning at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at the Vilno Cemetery at Baker St. in West Roxbury, MA. Following the interment friends are invited to join the family for memorial observance at the home of Natalya Chernyak.
