Yury Girshovich of Hollywood, FL passed away on August 11, 2025 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Lucy. Devoted father of Mark (Stephanie), and Dina of blessed memory. Cherished grandfather of Sam, Ava and Julia. Loving brother of Irina Taytslin (Michael). Dear uncle of Daniel and Andrew Taytslin and Andrew Levin. Dear son of the late Michael Girshovich and Bronislava Aronson.
He grew up in Leningrad, USSR, graduated from St. Petersburg University and Tallinn University of Technology and raised his family in Newton, MA. He worked as a software developer. He cherished his time spent with family and friends.
A graveside funeral service for Yury will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Shara Tfilo Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA. Shiva will be held at the Girshovich residence in Wynnewood, PA on Monday, August 18, 2025 between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
