Andy, my heart is so saddened by your loss!
I remember us all on West 10th Street growing up together, and how you taught me to use my first 35 mm camera!
At the last get together luncheon we all had such a pleasant day, I will hold those memories of you forever!
Rest In Peace my friend as you start your new journey ✝️🙏
My deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Ventura Family

Our friendship began in September 1984 at PS 249 Annex in Brooklyn, when you took a young teacher under your wing. I have so many memories of taking our 5th grade students on class trips, to places both near and far. You sparked my interest in photography, always the teacher, patiently sharing your skills, techniques, and love for the creative process, encouraging me to keep trying and helping me to develop into a pretty decent photographer!
We drank endless cups of coffee at every diner in Brooklyn, discussing every topic under the Sun, frequently well past midnight, even on a “school night”. Your natural curiosity and breadth and depth of knowledge made you a true 20th (And 21st ) Century Renaissance Man!
I will miss you, my dear friend.

Thank you for turning my ears onto AR-3A Speakers which I purchased from you and still have. My Minolta 35MM camera which I purchased from you and still have. Most importantly, on that late Saturday afternoon in June of1973 in Michael Crimi's basement, and I believe Joe Abramo, was there too, we watched Secretariat make history by winning the triple crown the first winner in 25 years. RIP, I'll miss you.
