Barbara Ann Minerva

Barbara A. Minerva (nee Collum), 81, of Ozone Park, NY, passed away on January 18th, 2024. She was born on August 26, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late John and Ellen Collum. Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vincent James Minerva.

Barbara will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her daughters, Barbara Ann Vogelgesang and Lorraine Ellen Faccenda, her sons-in-law, James Vogelgesang and Peter Faccenda, her grandchildren, Alexander Vogelgesang, Libby Vogelgesang, Sarah Vogelgesang, Nicholas Vogelgesang, and Erin Vogelgesang. Her legacy will live on in them. She is also survived by her brother, Joseph Collum.

Barbara's family and friends will always cherish the memories they shared with her. She was a devoted mother, proud grandmother, loyal sister and supportive friend. She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Roman Catholic Church.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223. A visitation will occur Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223. Interment to follow on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Greenwood Cemetery, 500 25 Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232.
