

Brenda Benita Goldsmith-Isidore, daughter of Mr. James P. Goldsmith, and Mrs. Delores Lee Maple-Goldsmith, was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 11, 1961. She was one of five children; Sharolyn D. Goldsmith-Curry, Bridget Goldsmith-Lopez, James P. Goldsmith II, and Wendy Goldsmith.
Growing up in Brooklyn, Brenda was a student at ‘Nativity of Our Blessed Lord’ where she also attended church with her family. Brenda continued her education as a student at ‘Bay Ridge High School’ in Brooklyn. At Bay Ridge she competed in track meets at Pratt Institute. She also enjoyed and took up tennis. Brenda graduated early in January 1979 and joined the commencement processions in June of that year.
Brenda was employed at Showtime and later at Radio City Music Hall’s Entertainment Law Department for most of her career.
Brenda was a strong sharp mind and quick wit, who enjoyed music, movies, fashion, reading and health. She found beauty in all she met and made it a point to acknowledge that beauty.
Brenda leaves behind, to continue to celebrate life: her loving mother Delores Lee Maple-Goldsmith, her loving husband Gregory Isidore, and their daughter Regina Arielle Isidore; siblings; Sharolyn D. Goldsmith-Curry (Timothy Sr.) of North Augusta, SC, Bridget Goldsmith-Lopez (Joseph), James P. Goldsmith II, of Brooklyn, NY, and Wendy Goldsmith of Rosedale Queens, NY, three nieces, Tianay and Sharolyn Curry of North Augusta, SC, Ashley Olivia Lopez of Brooklyn, NY; six nephews- Timothy L. II, Urijah I., Joel J., Seth A., Samuel J Curry of North Augusta, SC., Joseph Lopez of Austin TX, one great nephew- Akio Lopez of Austin,TX. one aunt, Macy Maple-Mack of Buffalo, NY, two uncles, William Maple, Lee Hood of Buffalo, NY. One Great Uncle Walter Goldsmith of Petersburg, VA, and a host of cousins.
