Remembering Daryl in a wonderful way.  May his soul rest in peace. Again my deepest sympathy to his family, especially his mother.  May God continue to comfort her for her loss.

Where does time go?  Time is a river, the mighty force of its steady, unending flow shapes and alters the course of history and it's people.   I remember Daryl as a soft-spoken young man.  My fondest memory of him was his love for his toy  he called Bo.  I remembered taking Daryl to spend some time at my house which was some distance from his Grandma’s.  Daryl started to cry for Bo and would not go to sleep.  I had to drive in the middle of the night to get Bo.  Gone too soon. Rest In Peace, Daryl. My dear cousin, Daryl, had I known our conversation on your birthday this year would be my last, I maybe would have stayed on the call a bit longer. When mommy called and gave me the news, my heart sunk…never had I imagined that you would have been gone so soon, but God had better plans for you and with that I find some contentment. However, though your body is no longer with us, I hope your spirit feels just how much you were loved. Cousin of mine, you have left a lot of broken hearts behind.

Aunty Dawn, Damion, Paul and Chrissy…..sigh! You are all deep deep in my thoughts and prayers. You were a close knit bunch and so I know that your grief is real and painful but know that I am only a phone call away. Goes without saying but whatever you may need, just say the word.

My fondest memories with Daryl were:

1)	The many holidays we spent together (in both Jamaica and New York) - the mischief we would both get ourselves into, the bellyfuls of laughter, the tears, the meals we shared, the movies we watched and just always having the best time together –  all forever etched in my mind.
2)	How loving he was – our conversations and parting words NEVER ended without him saying “Love you cousin”. I will certainly miss hearing those three words now.

Daryl, there is a hole in our family where you used to stand. There's a hole in my heart for which I never planned. I will miss you every day, until we meet again. Rest well my cousin, LOVE YOU DEARLY!

1) His fixation as a young child with a pillow (his comforter) he called "Bo"...the two were inseparable. 

2) Staying up all day to watch Michael Jackson's Thriller video, which would scare him but he would cry if you dare turn off the television....Daryl you will definitely be missed.
