Doris Bowers

on May 24th, 2023 in Brookline, MA. A native of Brooklyn, NY and

longtime resident of Pembroke Pines, FL. She is preceded in death by

her parents, William and Etta Bussel, husband, Harold Bowers, sisters,

Harriett (Harry) Lessne, Joan (Louis) Weiss, son, William Bowers.

She is survived by son Barry (Linda) Bowers, daughter-in-law, Eileen

(William) Bowers, grandchildren Jarrett (Robyn) Bowers, Lindsay

(Patrick) Butler and Erin (Adam) Steger. Great-grandchildren Lyla,

Edyn, Ivey Bowers and Jack and Emma Butler. Countless nieces, nephews

and great-nieces and nephews.

She was beloved by all and will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks to make a donation to

your favorite charity in her memory.

A graveside service for Doris will be held Sunday, May 28, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Wellwood Cemetery, 1400 Wellwood Avenue, West Babylon, NY 11704.
