have a memory or condolence to add?

I met Edith for the first and only time, at The Northwest Focal Point Senior Center on October 19, 2017. Edith was being honored for her incredible service, dedication, and contributions to the center.
Please accept my deepest and heartfelt sympathy. Edith is a Broward County Legend. Thank you for sharing her all these years.

I met Ms Edith when I started working for one of her dearest friends Ms Rickey Pine. She always gave me words of wisdom. Other than Ms Rickey, Ms Edith was one of the most active, loving, kind hearted, sassy, quick witted youthful woman that I know. I would take walks in the early mornings and she would be driving on her way to work saying with a big smile on her face...I almost ran you over Connie. Love you Ms Edith!! You will truly be missed! My deepest condolences to her family and friends...Connie

Edith was and always will be an inspiration. We attended many city and county meetings sitting next to each other. Edith was dedicated to helping her seniors and anyone in the community that needed assistance.
Edith taught me to be strong, to never give up, to remember what my responsibility was and to fight for what I believed in.
Edith will always be remembered for her goodness and I will always remember her kindness to me.
Edith you were a blessing please rest in peace with all our gratitude

Edith was truly the wind beneath my wings as I opened a home care company and was new to Ft Lauderdale. She mentored me for years and became such a wonderful friend. No one has a better heart and a sharper mind. And a wicked sense of humor. Those will be very big shoes to fill at the ADRC. I will honor her the rest of my life. My sympathies to her very loved family.

Edith will be forever loved and missed by so many. She always wanted the best healthcare for everyone and especially the seniors and those suffering with a disability. Many of us will miss her because you could pick up the telephone and Edith would always help you or someone in need. God's door is wide open for her and she will be busy organizing her space in heaven. RIP Edith. With Love, Cynthia

I liked Edith the first time that I meant her. She had a heart of gold and did so much for this County. I loved talking to her and if She didn’t hear from me for a while! I would receive a phone call from her. Are you okay?
Edith will always hold a special place in my heart. Rest In Peace Edith, you are one Grand Lady
