Frank Mario Perrone

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Frank Perrone, a devoted husband, cherished father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, who left us at the age of 89. He departed peacefully, having lived a life rich in love, service, and dedication to his family and country.

Born in Manhattan, Frank grew up as a proud Italian American. He was a veteran who served his country with honor. His commitment to service was matched only by his devotion to his family. Frank was a devoted husband and steadfast provider, whose quiet acts of love left lasting impressions. As a beloved father and grandfather, he was stern yet silly and sentimental and instilled the values of hard work and tradition.

A master carpenter, Frank was renowned for his impeccable attention to detail and the quality of his work. His craftsmanship transformed countless homes, institutions and community facilities, leaving behind a legacy of beauty and precision. Whether crafting intricate woodwork or building from the ground up, his hands created more than structures—they built memories.

In the summer months, Frank could often be found tending to his garden, where he grew the most vibrant tomatoes and nurtured a variety of plants. His love for nature extended beyond his garden; he had a profound respect for animals and the natural world, finding peace and joy in their presence.

Frank shared a special bond with his two brothers, with whom he shared many adventures and lifelong memories.

Frank Perrone's legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A visitation for Frank will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Church of Sts. Simon & Jude, 185 Van Sicklen St, Brooklyn, NY 11223. Interment to follow in St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.
