Maggie, I am so sorry to hear of Harold's passing. I know you are great friends to my Mom and Dad. Mom is doing well and now resides in Menorah House in Boca Raton. Do not hesitate to reach out I am sure Mom would love to talk to you.

Judge Rosenbaum was one of my most favorite patients. A true gentleman.....He will be greatly missed

Harold was a great man, and a great friend.  We will always cherish the fond memories we have of him. We lived across the hall from him for many years, so we got to see Harold, and his wonderful wife Maggie quite often. He would always greet you with a welcoming smile, and leave you with a piece of good advice. When we moved to Queens, we would still talk often and see them whenever we can. There were many times when we would stop by for a short visit, and it would easily turn into 2-3 hours...and loved every minute we spent with them. When we would visit with our son Massimo, Harold would always have a Tootsie Pop ready to offer him and would want to hear all about what he has been up to. He was always concerned with our well being, and always took a genuine interest in our accomplishments.  When we would leave, we never said goodbye, just "see you soon". 
Harold was a hero to us all. He was a strong family man, Navy man, and Honorable Judge. 
Through his years in the service he helped make our country safe, and then through his years in the court system, he helped make our city safe.
With his vast knowledge of the court and legal system, Harold was always eager to share his experience and help in any way he can. Even before you would ask for his help, he was offering. He would always say "I'm here if you need me, my services are free." And if he could not answer a question, he would call someone he knew who was an even greater expert, to get the answer for you. Harold was an inspiration to us to be better people. He would preach to us to always do the right thing, and most importantly, be honest.
His strength and resilience was amazing. Even over the last few years. He would suffer illness and/or injuries, some as a result of falling. Things that the average person would not recover from easily, yet he would make an amazing recovery. 
And yet with all he accomplished in his life, he was still the most modest man you will ever have met.
Our deepest sympathies go out to his wife Maggie, and children Lisa and Louis. Take comfort that Harold had a long, fruitful life, and loved you all very much. 
As Marianne said in the previous post, we are better people because of him, and for having known him. 
May you rest in peace our dear friend.
We will all miss you dearly.

Harold was an inspiration in many ways.  I am a better person for having known him in my role as a friendly visiting volunteer to him and to his beloved wife Maggie. I will miss Harold and I will always remember how much he cared and all the good he did even til the very end.  Thank you Harold for touching our lives and leaving this world a better place.
