On this anniversary of Henry's passing ,I want to share a message. Henry was a very special person who always brought joy to others. I miss his great sense of humor which got me through some very difficult times some days. He was a real MENCH and is truly missed. Alan Wahrsager SLSR ( RETIRED)

Henry was a friend, colleague, co-worker, and my brother. I miss him deeply. We shall not see his like again. He was a truly loving human being and the best of us all.

I remember going to a couple of National Invitational Basketball Tournaments with Henry.  The last being about 3 or 4 years ago.
That one fell on his birthday.  I took him to dinner before the game and bought his ticket.  This was unusual.  When you went out with Henry, he ALWAYS wanted to pay the bill and he usually did.  
He was the most generous person I ever knew, and fun to be with.  He always made me laugh.  I  miss him greatly. 

I'm so sorry to hear of Henry's passing. We were friends for many years. He was a great person, helped everyone he could. Helped the employers that he serviced. 
I will miss you Henry. You are with God now. Rest in Peace my friend. 

I didn't know this existed when he passed away.  Henry was my supervisor at various times during our careers..  He was a very special person and a dear friend.    



I worked for Henry many years ago. He was a supportive Supervisor and a caring person. He adored his family. He always had an uplifting story to tell. His co-workers were treated like family. I hope he was not in pain. Condolences to his family. May his memory be a blessing. 

I worked for Mr. Silverman - Henry - for the last seven-plus years.  The stories he told, the jokes, the uncanny ear that enabled  him to do spot -on impersonations, all were unique.  How can you ever sum up someone's life? 
We can't.   But we can miss him, and we surely will.
May his soul be bound up with the living.  May G-d rest his soul.

Henry came into o
our family a little over fourteen years ago when our daughter married his nephew. He  became a very popular relative due to his wonderful personality and his kind manner. He had a way of drawing us in with his telling of stories and events. Henry was full of facts! He was always animated and captivating. We were easily drawn in to listen and respond. He made us feel special. His focus was only on us when we spoke with him.  We always left feeling pleasant and happy. We will miss that special "Henry gift. "
I'm sure his beautiful smile and contagious laugh contributed to that!
 Chris and I will miss Henry very much at our Thanksgiving Day gatherings, but Henry's memory will always be present in our hearts. May His Memory Be Eternal. 

Henny and I became  pretty close friends soon after I became manager at 54th St.   He supervised a unit who were very loyal to him.  They went places together such as Jersey City for sea food.  He was knowledgeable about many things especially  sports with the NY Yankees  standing out.  He accompanied  me to Met games and the US Open (tennis).  Henry was a  person  one never forgets  -  good ideas,  a capturing smile,  and a positive attitude.

To Love another person is to love the world. Henry loved the world. And that made him special. He shall be missed.

Henry was a great man who was also a good man!  He shared the best and most interesting stories that included the actual date it happened.  He always knew how to make you feel special and he will truly be missed!   Prayers for his family during this difficult time.  RIP Henry
