Jeanne C. Turzilli (née Fezza) was born on July 21, 1947 in Jamaica, NY., moving to Brooklyn at a young age. She enjoyed growing up with her younger sister and her cousins. She always talked about her fond memories of her dad’s bakery and her time with her family, especially at their Jersey house. After graduating from Lafayette High School, she worked in banking for many years, even venturing to the city and making lasting friendships. She took some time off to become a wonderful mother and went back to work at a local bank. She truly loved her job and the people she worked with. Even while working, she was still a devoted wife and mother. Everyone who came in contact with Jeanne had such positive things to say about her because she was truly a saint on earth. She truly cared and loved the people around her. She had the kindest heart and looked after people with her whole being. She was known as the head of the “Lonely Hearts Club” at her job because she always lent a helping hand to everyone and went out of her way to be patient with everyone she met, even the most unfortunate. She saw the good in everyone. She enjoyed sharing her life with her family and friends and took pride in her family. Jeanne passed away on June 19, 2020 surrounded by her family. She is reunited with her infant daughter, Paulette, her parents, Pauline and Tony, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Yolanda and Victor, her nephew, Keith and many aunts and uncles.
