The first time I heard him sing was late at night at Toodies house. It was on a record. I was overwhelmed. Years past and I found myself playing on a stage and hearing this incredible voice coming out from the speakers. I don’t know if I had ever been more excited about what I was doing. Joey was without a doubt one of the most talented, funniest and inspiring people I ever met. He changed my life and I’ll never forget him. 

Joey was one of the greatest influences on my music as a youngster .. His genuine enthusiasm, warmth, kindness and humor made him one of the finest people anyone could want as a friend.
 Prayers for his loved ones in this time of loss..

I have know Joey since the 60’s. I loved this man so much. He was always at my home when I was married to Steve Tudanger member of the FourEvers. He was one of my best friends. I am so sad to hear of his passing.  I will never forget him.
