
Marcotrigiano, Josephine. Born of Italian immigrants in Brooklyn in 1924, Josephine Miscione married Carmine Marcotrigiano in 1948. While raising her two children, she began her long career working as a teacher's aide at P.S. 130 in Brooklyn where she was loved by teachers and generations of children. She was the most selfless woman one could imagine, always coming to the aid of family and friends in need. She died on February 25th. With her death, many of us lost our best friend. She is predeceased by her husband Carmine, her sisters Edith, Mary and Helen and her brother, Robert. She is survived by her brother Eugene of Staten Island, daughter Donna of Brooklyn, son Michael of Massachusetts, and in Florida her grandchildren, Sylvia and Jose and great grandchildren Sari and Briana as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and their children. In lieu of flowers, donations should be given to the Alzheimer's Association. A wake will be held at Joseph G. Duffy Funeral Home, 255 9th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215 on Sunday March the 1st. The Funeral Mass will be Monday, March the 2nd at 9:45 am at Immaculate heart of Mary Church, 2805 Fort Hamilton Parkway Brooklyn, NY 11218. Interment to follow at Green-Wood Cemetery.
