Joyce Eileen Gabel passed away June 29, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas. She was 69 years old. Joyce is survived by her mother, Jeraldine Diamond, her two daughters, Jill Simms and Andrea Gabel, their husbands Anthony and Daniel, and her four grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jessica, Abigail, and Zachary. Before retiring, Joyce was a secretary for the Sunrise Police Department Detective Division in Sunrise, Florida. Funeral service will be held Sunday July 8, 2012 at New Montefiore Cemetery in Pinelawn, New York. 631-249-7000.
