

Beloved Wife, Sister, and Friend.
Karen passed away at the age of 67 on November 6, 2021 in Norwalk, CT, where she lived for 40 years. Karen was a loving wife, sister, friend, and successful business woman and entrepreneur. She is survived by her husband, Kirk Parsons, and her sister Tina, brother-in-law James, and nephew Nicolas Gleba.
Karen was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where after attending Hunter College, started on a successful business career in Public Relations, working at various media agencies for many years, and then launching and operating her own media relations firm Leeman Communications for over 15 years. She also was an adjunct professor at Fashion Institute and Technology (FIT) where she taught branding and marketing strategies to help better prepare graduating students entering the market place.
Karen's love of reading, passion for all things fashion related, great sense of humor, ease of making friends, energy, and honest way of approaching life is what her loved ones will miss most.

A visitation for Karen will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Joseph G. Duffy, 255 Ninth Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215. A visitation will occur Friday, November 12, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 255 Ninth Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Green-Wood Crematory, 500 25th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215.
