Lawrence was a Brooklyn boy, born and bred. He is survived by his children, Elisa and Jordan & his loving sister Grace. He was a very loving and caring father with a gentle and peaceful soul. He was also a staunch advocate for the rights and equality of the people, especially those that have been oppressed. Being a very socially active Unitarian Universalist, he attended countless protests, including those to promote Civil Rights and Anti-War. Prior to his Unitarian years, he was raised Catholic and was especially endeared to Saint Francis and his notions of peace, forgiveness and animal rights. He was well loved throughout his entire life by a close family and countless friends. Within a life well lived and loved, he cherished every moment. Visitation will take place on Wednesday & Thursday 2- 5 & 7-10 at Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th Street, Brooklyn, NY. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday June 22, 2019 at 11:00am in Greenwood Cemetery Chapel, Brooklyn, NY.
