Lesly Fontaine Jr. was a father, family protector, and a car enthusiast. Born on September 12, 1981 in Brooklyn, NY to Marguerite Blanche Fontaine and Lesly Fontaine Sr. Les had a smile that would brighten up a room, a trait he passed on to his sons Aiden and Isaiah Fontaine.
A charismatic and athletic guy, his ability to make a lasting impression made him a great fit for a career in law enforcement. A career path he began after enrolling in John Jay College of Criminal Justice. There, he pursued his studies and took on the role of cadette while working his way up to NYPD. Les then went on to serve in the United States Armed Forces. He toured in Iraq for one year in the E- 2-81 Armor, 5th platoon out of Fort Knox, KY, he worked with the Federal Bureau of Corrections, and actively serves with the National Guard. His most recent accomplishment was becoming a Federal Air Marshall with Homeland Security.
When he wasn’t trying to save the world, you would often find him under the hood of a truck or driving his latest car with the engine roaring.
Just as he made sure those cars were in the best shape he sculpted his physique and often entered body building competitions earning him the nickname “Captain America.”
Aside from fast cars and helping others, he loved his family dearly. Often making sure birthdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays were big occasions. And if it was mom’s cooking involved, you can forget it.
Lesly is survived by his two sons Aiden Lesly Christopher Fontaine and Isaiah Russel Fontaine; his parents Marguerite Blanche Fontaine and Lesly Fontaine Sr. He also leaves his sisters Tamu Chloe McNeil, Joi Lee Fontaine, his loving brother Darryl Ernest Fontaine and brother-in-law Collis McNeil. He has two nieces Taja Marie Whitted and Evangeline Andrea Jones, and a host family and friends who will miss him dearly.
