I only found out about Lynda's passing from a recent Goldman alumni update, long after her services. I would have come had I known.
Lynda was one the one friend l kept from Goldman, despite having left the Firm 36 years ago. We started as colleagues and remained, always, friends-- having moved out of state long ago, I nonetheless would visit her at work and later in Brooklyn every time I came to Manhattan, and we always laughed and talked and, again, laughed.

Matthew and Mallory, she loved you both so much, and I hope her love will sustain you through your loss. She was one of the kindest people I have ever known.

I have known Lynda for a long time through many years at Goldman.  She was a true friend with whom I loved to talk.  She always had a lot to say and I was never tired of listening.  She is and will be greatly missed by me.  I know that God will be entertained by all that Lynda has to say about her family and her friends.   A person like Lynda with so much love for all her family and others is rare.  I will think of her often.

I was so very sorry to hear of Lynda’s passing.  I worked with her in the Municipal Finance Department at Goldman Sachs for a number of years.  Lynda was a very warm, friendly and generous person to work with.  I extend my deepest condolences to her family.

Lynda and I always got in trouble for her either coming by my desk or me going in her office and talking and laughing. She decided to keep a little sand dial in her desk and we would stop our conversation once the sand ran out. We both loved to talk she was the best!

I only knew Lynda very briefly, seeing her on the occasional neighborhood stroll or dog walk this past year or so, but she became such a warm and wonderful presence in my life. Always listening, smiling…engaged with the world; her gratitude and amazing life perspective was beautiful to behold and so inspiring. My heart goes out to her family and friends during this difficult time.

Lynda was deeply religious throughout her life during the good times and less good times.  She personally gave me great strength, throughout our 30 yr friendship  and I already miss her terribly.  My condolences to her terrific family.
