Dear Hannan Family

My name is George Bernardin. In june 1964 I went to work for New York Telephone. I was assigned to Jim Hannan. I remember at the time that Jim and Mary had 9 children, 8 boys and 1 girl, the oldest being twin boys who later became Priests.

My prayers go out to your entire family with the passing of Mary. I met many of you at Jim's funeral and exchanged christmas cards with Mary for a number of years after Jim's passing.

I am 78 years old and Jim was by far the greatest gentleman, mentor and friend I have ever known. I know how much he loved Mary and his entire family.

I am sure you all have wonderful memories. GOD BLESS George

Dearest Aunt Mary,
May you rest in the sweetest peace. I will miss our conversations and the exchange of our Christmas cards and short notes to each other. Thank you for giving me the privilege of being Christopher’s Godmother. I am sure your reunion with Uncle Jimmy and your beautiful babies along with your parents and other family members was priceless. Please give hugs and kisses to all of our family members up there especially my Mom tell her I have loved and missed her forever.
