Melissa Nancy Karpf, age 53, of Brooklyn, New York passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023. Melissa was born on February 4, 1970 to Beverly and Henry Karpf of Smithtown, New York. After Melissa graduated from Smithtown High School East in 1988, she received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan. Melissa went on to continue her studies at Connecticut College, where she received an M.A. in Psychology. Melissa is survived by her parents Beverly and Henry Karpf, brother Jeffrey Karpf, sister in-law Danielle Karpf, and nephews Alex, Owen, Brett and Will Karpf.

A graveside service for Melissa will be held Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at New Montefiore Cemetery, 1180 Wellwood Avenue, West Babylon, NY 11704.
