Molly Zeviner

It is with deep sorrow to announce the passing of an extraordinary woman, Molly Handelsman Zeviner. She died at the age of 105 and a half on Thursday, August 14, 2014. She was born on January 11, 1909 in Brooklyn, NY where she resided until her passing. Molly was a compassionate and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband Hyman Zeviner and her daughter Barbara Zeviner Berk. She leaves behind her daughter Audrey Zeviner Stone, her son-in-law Vincent Cassidy, her granddaughters Sandra Stone Haas and Nancy Stone Sokoloff, their husbands Christopher Haas and Elliot Sokoloff, her great grandchildren Hannah Haas, Andrew Haas, Katherine Sokoloff and Alexander Sokoloff, as well as her niece Suzanne “Susie” Handelsman and her nephew Michael “Mike” Handelsman among other family members. Molly's primary focus was always her family and her positive attitude was an inspiration to everyone. She helped raise her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Her words of wisdom were inspirational and heartfelt. She will be dearly missed and always in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
