Patsy and I have been good friends for over forty years.
I love Patsy and we enjoyed our friendship! He is a good being.
I do not believe in death so therefore because of his goodness in this life  I am confident that his future will be bright.
Condolences to his wife, children and sister. A loss like this of a close family member can not be doused with words but knowing his goodness and remembering him fondly will as some time goes by deliver peace.
Patsy lived imperfectly as we all do but he had angelic qualities which are and will be his passport to his future as a free and happy spiritual being, one that does not end merely  with the death of a mortal body!

I knew him at FDR. We only got back in contact this past summer through an FB Fillmore East site. So sad. 

A stand up guy. Industrious and never a quitter. 

They don’t make them like him and his Dad Pete anymore. 

I am sorry that I hadn’t seen him in many years but the awesome memories can never be replaced. 

We were all better off with you in this life.

I met Pasty back in 1967 When I first started FDR High school, We Played in the Band for FDR's High School Sing, After The Sing Pastry stated his own band and ask me if I'd be his Drummer, It Became a lifelong Friendship,
I Was his first Drummer, We had a Great Band

Dear Patsy: I still remember the Saturday afternoon you walked into our schoolyard to fight one of our guys. I remember you walking into our "U" wearing a Navy Peacoat, and you walked in all alone!! Bravely! You guys ended up fist fighting , while Marie Biondolillo and I stood by watching to make sure no once else jumped in ...we made sure it was a fair fight.  I'm glad we all reconnected... You and I were nightly telephone buddies..you put me on loudspeaker so you could work in your store while we talked. There's no friends like old friends...We helped each other a lot..

Hey Pat. Will never forget you. You were good to me for 17years because You were a good man, great father to your kids and good provider. The many nights and days, just sharing laughs, listening to all the rock n roll music you loved, always looking at photos lol I will miss that too. Hearing you blast the music from all hours of the night until you passed out. Good times. I will never forget you. Rock on in heaven, and play your guitar 🎸 with your band and best friends who you missed that now you can be together again. I am sure you are having more laughs in heaven &rocking out. Here is a photo you sent me of how happy you were when you had your store & how many ppl loved you back 🇺🇲❤. Rest in peace, always  will be remembered 🙏❤

To my extended Bartiromo family, especially Nina and TC, Gloria and Teresa.  Writing this is bringing tears to my eyes!  I am so happy I was able to visit him in March and hear some of his legendary stories and see his amazing photo collection. 

 I will always cherish my childhood memories of Patsy and what an amazing person he was. He treated me like his little brother.  I remember he would always ask me if I wanted to work for him selling whatever he was selling at that time, he was definitely an entrepreneur!  He once asked if I wanted to sell hotdogs on 18th Ave with a Hotdog cart he bought, I was so excited, but my mom sad no 😩!

Rest In eternal Peace Patsy!  You will definitely be missed but never forgotten!

Our sincere condolences to the  Bartiromo family,  in the early days we jammed together, did battle of the bands together, hung out together . In our later years we went to reunions together, concerts together and talked on the phone together & made each other laugh. Patsy was a lover of the Byrds .  To everything. Turn, Turn, Turn . What an incredible man. A big brother to my friend, Nina, an archivist with all the photos and memories of bygone days. He was also interested in the historical origins of our neighborhood, Bensonhurst, along with Gravesend. He knew all about Lady McDonald, revolutionary wartime happenings in the area. He could tell you about all of the interesting historical landmarks that we have around us. Some that you might pass by every day without realizing.  
A wonderful presence on this earth is lost to us so that Heaven rejoices.

I’m so sad to hear of the passing of my dear friend. Patsy was like an older brother to me growing up on 59th street. Through the years we kept in touch and reminisced about the good ole days, and we would laugh and talk for hours. I talked him into joining Facebook and posting his many pictures he had taken of so many friends and family. Patsy was an amazing good hearted person, he is going to be missed by many friends and family. I remember driving him upstate to Renaissane House with his Father Pete. He was very proud of his sobriety and the many people he had helped through the years. Until we meet again my Brother, I am going to miss you more than you could ever know. Rest In Peace my dear ole friend.

We are  all heartbroken at your passing. You gave so many of us memories we will never forget. Will miss our talks.

All summer long, on the stoop or in the basement, the Bartiromo home was our home away from home.

Patsy was a Gentle Man. Large in Stature and Heart! 

He was always a pleasure to hang with, always quick to laugh, and bring a smile to all our faces with a joke, or joking around.  

Any time there was any question or issue, Patsy would always take the high road, apologize or shake hands and go on with our fun. Would offer help at a moment's notice!
